Mills County Predator Hunting “22” Contest / 22 hour hunt

Registration:

Saturday, February 25, 2012  10:00 a.m.  Hunting begins at 12:00 noon.

Mills County General Store, 1108 Fisher St, Goldthwaite, TX 76844

Entry Fee:  $50/man,  3 man maximum per team


Turn In:

Sunday, February 26, 2012  10:00 a.m.

Late turn in results in disqualification and forfeiture.


1.  3 man team maximum.  All must be present at sign in and turn in.  Must hunt together.

2. Hunters must be entered in the contest.

3. No hunting baited areas.

4. Any animal showing signs of traps, snares, aging, or “loading” will result in team disqualification.

5. Animals must be harvested by team members between 12:00 noon  Saturday and 10:00 a.m. Sunday

6. Contestants may be subject to polygraph.  

7. Texas hunting regulations apply including:

a. Must have valid hunting license

b. Must have permission of landowner

c. May not shoot from public road

8. Must be registered team member to enter heavy pots.

9. Team members must dispose of animals in legal manner.

10. May hunt in Mills County and all contiguous counties:

a. Hamilton

b. San Saba

c. Lampasas

d. Brown

e. Comanche

11. Team with most total points wins

12. Payout:

a. 1-5 teams Winner Take All

b. 6+ teams

i. First place  60%

ii. Second place  30%

iii. Third place  10%

13. Points

a. Mountain Lion  50

b. Red Fox   10

c. Bob Cat   10

d. Coyote   7

e. Gray Fox  3


14. Heavy Pots - $25 / team – winner take all

a. Coyote

b. Bobcat

c. Red Fox

d. Gray Fox

e. Raccoon

15. Any ties will be split.
